作者简介：
马道山，2000年9月被评为副教授，2007年10月晋升为正教授。任教于天津工业大学外国语学院。在各类学术期刊发表论文45篇，译文30篇，出版专著2部，副主编论文集1部，作为编委参编专著及论文集4部，译著或教参9部，参加国际国内各类学术会议并交流论文26篇，主持完成省部级哲学社会科学项目3项，参加国家哲学社会科学基金项目1项，参加完成省部级艺术科学项目1项，主持或参加完成局级科研项目5项。
内容简介：
本书重点是语言学的基本知识和基本理论，语音学、音系学、形态学、句法学、语义学这些语言学的核心内容。本研究难点是音系学理论、句法结构和各个语言学流派的理论观。具体解决办法是改革教学方法，将讲授和语言学工作坊结合起来。本书原则上采用英语范例，鼓励读者结合自己的语言实践提供更多的例子来解释相关理论，以达到理论和实践相结合。
